Stacie and IIE

Stacie believes in the power of cross-cultural interaction and immersive intercultural experiences. International education is a powerful path to enhance such learning, especially in youth, and, as such, has worked with IIE, Institute of International Education, a non-profit founded in 1919 and one the world’s largest and most experienced international education and training organizations. IIE’s mission is to advance international education and access to education worldwide by managing scholarships, training, exchange and leadership programs; conducting research and facilitating policy dialogue on global higher education; and protecting scholarship around the world.

Three of Stacie’s recent books have been coauthored with IIE’s President Dr. Allan E. Goodman, and published by IIE. Stacie collaborated with IIE to create the Generation Study Abroad campaign launched in 2014 and designed to double the number of American students studying abroad by 2020. She is also a frequent contributor to IIE articles and participant at IIE events; she supports the organization’s mission, which includes prestigious and innovative international education scholarships.
