World Cities

In today’s New York Times, there is a thoughtful piece by Tony Judt, the director of the Remarque Institute at New York University who died in August. The piece reflects one man’s view of world cities, specifically New York, and pays homage to the global citizens who find themselves at home in NYC for a short spell or forever, drawn to its worldly charms. Judt articulates the sense of global belonging beautifully in My Endless New York.
