I’ve read a lot of books this summer. Many from the list of “Globetrotting” put together by the New York Times published in January. If you’re looking for a well-written novel that’s provocative yet easy enough to read, I recommend The Strange Case of Alice Pendelbury, by Marc Levin, France’s most popular contemporary novelist.
